MISSION
Integrative Emergency Services, LLC (“IES”) is dedicated to cultivating best practices in emergency care, providing comprehensive acute care services, creating value, and supporting patients, employees, clients, providers, and physicians in pursuit of the highest quality health care.
POSITION SUMMARY
The IES Summer Internship Program offers students the chance to gain valuable experience in their anticipated career field. It allows an opportunity to develop a variety of work experiences and skills through collaboration with different teams, departments, and leadership.
Interns will work under the supervision of an IES leader. Specific internship functions are flexible based on student’s career interests; however, traditional corporate functions will be best positioned to support a successful internship experience.
Only applications of students currently enrolled in high school or undergraduate education programs will be accepted.
Applicants will be accepted through May 1, 2025.
Although interns will work Summer months, specifics on start date, end date, and hours per week are flexible and will be discussed in the interview process. The Intern should be available to complete internship hours during core business hours Monday - Friday.
The number of internship opportunities are limited and there is no guarantee of employment at the end of the internship program.

A SUCCESSFUL INTERN:
- Is comfortable dealing with a variety of individuals at all organizational levels in a professional manner.
- Will complete projects and/or work assignments in a timely manner with high degrees of accuracy and detail
- Is an excellent communicator – both verbally and in writing
- Has a strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Uses discretion appropriately and maintains confidentiality
- Able to read, write and speak English proficiently
- Is able to complete all pre-employment screens, including, but not limited to background check, drug screen, and new hire paperwork

- The noise level in the work environment is usually low
COMPENSATION:
- State of Texas minimum wage: $7.25/hr *2025

- Specific vision requirements include the ability to see at close range, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear
- Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to feel, and reach with hands and arms.
- Possess the ability to fulfill any office activities normally expected in an office setting, to include, but not limited to: remaining seated for periods of time to perform computer based work, participating in filing activity, lifting and carrying office supplies (paper reams, mail, etc.)
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20-25 pounds
- Fine hand manipulation (keyboarding)
