Director, Finance Operations

Mission 
Integrative Emergency Services, LLC (“IES”) is dedicated to cultivating best practices in emergency care, providing comprehensive acute care services, creating value, and supporting patients, employees, clients, providers, and physicians in pursuit of the highest quality health care.

Position Summary 
This position will interface with executives at IES and be responsible for the most significant contract relationship for the company.  This position will focus on the overall financial process, including development, improvement and management of the contract on multiple levels. The position is a growth role and expected to be an integral part of the Finance team in our long term strategic plan.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Responsible for relationship management of our most significant contract, primarily finance department of the customer
  • Work with operational leaders to improve workflows, financial performance and overall revenue cycle management
  • Work closely with our revenue cycle manager and outsourced revenue cycle company
  • Responsible for preparing financial information and review with appropriate management personnel including the customer
  • Participate in mergers/acquisitions analysis
  • Analyze financial performance and trends for practice group by facility
  • Management of physician group pay plan
  • Maintain general ledger and accounting records
  • Prepare financial statements
  • Perform special projects as required
  • Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications:  
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of related senior level experience in accounting or audit
  • Experience in a multi-entity organization
  • Ability to function in a hands-on environment and manage internal and external relationships
  • Experience as a leader or consultant/auditor for growth company in the healthcare sector
  • Experience preparing budgets and financials in a multi-entity organization
  • Proficiency with MS Office, including strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, and accounting software
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Healthcare experience 
  • CPA certification or equivalent
  • Experience moving from QuickBooks to larger platform a plus
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
